This Ruffed Grouse was the perfect surprise as I made my way out from retrieving my trail camera the other day in the boreal forest of Newfoundland and Labrador. It didn’t come easy because I had to slowly crawl down an embankment then roll into position for a clean shot. Plus This whole thing was made even more uncomfortable by the flies, which were thick enough to carry you away and they didn’t hesitate to enjoy me for dinner! Lol..So was it all worth the hassle, well you tell me?
